HD Status — Privacy Policy
HD Status does two things: it sends your photos and videos to your own WhatsApp at full quality, and its AI Studio turns your product photos into video ads and flyers for your business. This policy describes exactly what each involves.
The short version
We hold one phone number per install — yours — so we know where to send your media. Photos and videos you send in full HD pass through our server and are deleted the moment they have been delivered; we never look at them.
When you make an ad in AI Studio, the photos and details you put into it are used to make that ad, and nothing else. Finished ads are saved on your phone, not kept by us: the copy on our server is deleted within an hour of your phone saving it, and the photos you uploaded within two days.
What we collect

What we never collect
- Your contacts, your messages, or anyone else's phone number.
- Your location. We never ask for it and the app has no location permission. Advertising partners can infer an approximate area from your IP address, in the way any website can.
- Your photo library. You choose photos with the system picker, which shares only the ones you pick. On iPhone the app asks only to add your finished ads to Photos, never to read it; on Android it saves them to your gallery.
- The contents of photos and videos you send in full HD. They are relayed, not read.
- Statuses you save from the app stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
Who else is involved
- WhatsApp — your media is delivered through it, and their privacy policy applies once it arrives. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
- Anthropic (Claude) — when you ask AI Studio to write your ad, it receives what you typed about your product and, if you include one, a product photo, and returns the ad text. It does not receive your phone number. Anthropic does not train its models on this data. Anthropic's privacy policy.
- ElevenLabs — when you turn on a voice-over, it receives the words of the voice-over and returns the audio. No photos and no phone number. ElevenLabs' privacy policy.
- Instagram (Meta) — only if you choose to connect it. We read your public profile name, username, profile picture and recent posts once, to fill in your ad, and do not keep your Instagram login or access token.
- Google AdMob — sells the ad space and uses your device's advertising identifier. How Google uses data. You can reset or delete that identifier in your device settings.
- Advertising partners bidding through AdMob — AppLovin, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, Mintegral, Pangle and Meta Audience Network. When one of them wins the auction it receives your advertising identifier and coarse device information in order to serve and measure that ad. Each publishes its own privacy policy. They never receive your phone number, your media, your ads, or anything you send.
- Google Firebase — anonymous usage events such as "a send succeeded" (Analytics), and delivering our notifications to your phone (Cloud Messaging). No media and no phone numbers are included.
- Google Play and the App Store — handle all payment. We never see your payment details.
Your ads are designed and rendered on our own servers. Your data is not sold.
Your choices about ads
In the EU and UK the app asks for your consent before any advertising partner is allowed to use your data, and you can change that answer at any time from the privacy options in the app. On iOS, Apple additionally asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites; declining leaves the ads in place but makes them non-personalised, and nothing else in the app changes.
Deleting your data
Open the app and disconnect your number. Your number is erased from our server immediately and permanently, the details you typed into your ads are emptied, and every session token issued for it stops working. You can also email us and we will do it for you within 30 days. There is no account to close — the app has never had one. Full steps are on the Delete your data page.
Media you send is not part of this, because there is none to delete — it is removed as soon as it is delivered. Ads saved on your phone are yours to delete from the app or your gallery.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Your session credential is stored in Android's private app storage or the iOS Keychain. It lets the app send media to your own number and make ads for you; it cannot be used to reach anyone else.
Children
HD Status is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and note the change in the app's release notes.
